NATURALLY ECO-FRIENDLY
The Insight Hybrid, like you, truly has an eco-friendly heart. The Insight Hybrid uses two distinct power sources – an electric motor and an i-VTEC engine. This Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) Hybrid System enables the Insight Hybrid to achieve better fuel efficiency and enhanced performance.
Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT)
The Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) helps achieve a perfect balance between fuel efficiency and performance. It does this by producing more torque with an infinite number of effective gear ratios. This CVT system provides better fuel efficiency than previous systems, as it better limits excessive RPM when ECON mode is activated.

Improved Aerodynamic & Style
The new Insight Hybrid’s wedge shaped body gives you superior aerodynamics with its new, more contoured front bumper design. There’s also a new front grille with blue reflectors, new projector halogen headlights with blue highlights and tastefully redesigned front fog lights.
Better Visibility
The rear of the Insight Hybrid features a new bumper design, rear garnish and LED tail lights. Improved visibility is also made possible with new roof lining, a smaller wiper motor garnish and a new tail gate garnish with reduced thickness.
NATURALLY SAFE
ABS, EBD, BA & Hill Start Assist
The new Insight’s Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) stops your wheel from locking up while its Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) controls braking distribution between the wheels. In emergencies, Brake Assist (BA) kicks in to bring you to a safe stop. Hill Start Assist is a new feature to help prevent backward rolling on inclines when the brake is released.
Active Head Rests
Active headrests provide prevention of head and neck injuries should a rear collision occur.
ISO Fix
ISO Fix is the international standard for attachment points for child safety seats in passenger cars.
